I’ve been looking for a WordPress theme better than the pre-installed “Magazine Basic” and I think I found it in “The Morning After.” I’ll eventually create my own design and possibly ditch WordPress altogether for my own custom software, but until my schedule dies down this will have to do. It still needs a little work (namely a logo and custom graphics) but it’s getting there. Some other themes I found interesting were “Futurosity Magazine,” which reminded me of The New Yorker but needs more work; “Overstand,” which I think I liked mostly out of how the logo plays into the design; and the “Mac OS” theme, which was more clever than anything else. And then I thought “Dreamplace” was just plain pretty. Special thanks to my girlfriend, Jamie, for helping pick out these and many more great WordPress themes.
